Lifestyle Control is taking over

Get On-board and embrace the possibilities…

‘Hey’ Contractors!

Home Automation, or as we like to call it, ‘Lifestyle Control’, is swiftly taking over the world. Are they listening in to our phones and voice control devices such as Google Home and Amazon Alexa? Whatever the answer, it doesn’t matter, however there is one thing for sure, it isn’t going away. So, what do we do? Get on-board and understand what technology is readily available. Controlling every device in your home is possible and how you control it is completely up to you.

Middy’s TechEnergy are here to demystify lifestyle control and be your trusted partner when it comes to providing your customers with technology that meets their expectations while also providing them with controllability of their devices at home. The possibilities in regard to targeting customers are endless, from new and existing home owners to SMEs (small to medium enterprises). It is important to understand who your allies are in the industry, and with Middy’s 90 years of “Respecting the Channel”, we are here to stand by our contractor family.

Retail and hybrid retail/trade outlets are providing Lifestyle Control technology direct to the consumer. However, things may not always be as easy as they seem and it may not take long for “plug and play” to turn into “plug and pray”. If this happens and the consumer needs assistance to fix the problem and at the same time connect 240V products to their system, who do they call? Their trusted electrical contractor.

Try asking your customers: If you notice that your customers have installed smart home devices, this is a great opportunity for you to ask if they feel as though they are utilising the technology to its greatest potential? If the answer isn’t an emphatic ‘yes!’, this is your opening to discuss how you can assist with their automation needs.
