Bryce wins Queensland Round and Increases Series Lead
Bryce Fullwood has continued his excellent form, winning the Ipswich Supersprint round at Queensland Raceway in July.
In what was his fourth podium finish for the season, he is now ahead of the pack with an imposing 283 point lead.
Having endured balance and braking issues with the car, Bryce said that he felt “fantastic after the weekend” and that he was glad to come away with the win. He added that “Racing is very up-and-down, so while we got lucky this time, it may be us that’s not so lucky next, so you have to take the easy ones while you can get them”.
Despite the aforementioned issues, Bryce managed to take second in Race 1 and first in Race 2 at Queensland Raceway and is now in preparation mode for the upcoming Bathurst 1000 event in October.
With 300 points up for grabs in the 1 race at Bathurst, Bryce is fully aware of the significance of this race and the potential affect it can have on the Super2 Series season. Bryce has committed to continue to train hard and work on his fitness in order to give himself the best opportunity to have a successful race.
From everyone at Middy’s, we wish Bryce and the team at MW Motorsport the best of luck at Bathurst and for the remainder of the season.
