Middy’s Racing Back On Track

Bryce Fullwood & the Mobil 1 Middy's Racing team are live and back on track with Bryce off to a great start.

On 28 June at the BP Ultimate Sydney SuperSprint, Bryce surprised even himself by clinching his first top 10 solo result in his Supercars Championship career. This was after Bryce had a disappointing Adelaide debut way back in February, when he collected the Turn 11 wall in both races. Bryce had this to say, “If someone had said to me ‘you’re going to come 10th’ going into this weekend I would have told them you’re kidding."

Things only got better for Bryce at the Truck Assist Sydney Supersprint on 18-19 July where the WAU team recorded a consistent weekend over the three races, including Bryce’s best ever Supercar result when he crossed the line seventh in the final race of the weekend. Bryce said he was "Stoked to be up that high in my first Supercars year. A credit to all the boys and girls at Walkinshaw Andretti United because the Mobil 1 Middy’s rocket was going pretty good.”

Bryce then headed home, as the first native to race a Supercar in the NT at the BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown on Aug 15-16. The local crowd got right behind Bryce but unfortunately results didn't go his way finishing 18th in race 14 and 19th in race 15. In Bryce's words, "Tough weekend to be honest, character building, but so glad we have the opportunity to go again at home next weekend."

Whilst in the Territory, Bryce visited Middy's Woolner and Palmerston branches where he gave away limited edition hand signed posters and chatted with customers. On the day, customers also had the chance to win GA tickets and other great prizes including Middy's Racing merchandise and Middy's Gift Cards. Food trucks and coffee vans completed the festivities.
