Last November, Middy’s participated in the Movember movement, Australia’s leading charity changing the face of men's health.


On November 9th 2019, IDEAL Electrical concluded their fourth annual IDEAL Tradesman Championship by crowning the first ever International Champion.

The month of October marked the 60th anniversary of Middy's trading in Dandenong.

Having opened in the late 50s, the branch first operated from Cleland Street, moving then to 9 Clow Street in the 60s, before relocating to 45-47 Bennet Street Dandenong in 1993, where it remains to this day.

The Middy’s WA branches recently held their biannual Info Night at Optus Stadium. The relatively newly built stadium was adorned with pink lighting and could easily be seen from the City of Perth.

Albert Park Pre-school is a community kindergarten located in the bayside suburb of Albert Park in Melbourne. Recently they achieved a remarkable feat – becoming Australia’s first certified carbon neutral kindergarten.

On July 1st Middy’s expanded its NSW branch network, acquiring Goulburn Electrical Wholesalers (MGEW) a one branch business established in 2005.

With Middy’s committed to "Offering you more…" some Middy’s branches held information evenings to speak about the Wiring Rules updates and to field contractor questions. The first of these sessions was held at the Rosebud branch and had 30 contractors attend from Middy’s Mornington, Hastings and Rosebud as well as a number of Middy’s staff and Regional Sales Manager, Brad Carlyle.
