Bryce Claims Super2 Series Championship
Bryce has claimed his first ever Dunlop Super2 Series championship in the penultimate round with an unassailable lead to cap a hugely successful year.

At the SuperCheap Auto Bathurst 1000 in October Bryce's form was scorching. The championship leader backed up his impressive Bathurst opening practice, finishing atop the time sheets in the final practice of the Dunlop Super2 Series.

Continuing his run of excellent form, Bryce went on to top the rain affected qualifying, earning him pole position for Saturday’s Super2 Series 250km race at Bathurst. This would be Bryce’s first pole position for the season, with 5 race wins to his name.

“I’m absolutely stoked and I can’t thank the guys from MW Motorsport enough, I’ve had an extremely fast car here this weekend” - Bryce Fullwood

Bryce dominated the 250km minienduro on Saturday afternoon to take the chequered flag with a 13.2942s advantage, despite a Safety Car being deployed after the midway point of the race. However, upon review he was stripped of his superb Bathurst Super2 Victory.

Unfortunately, Bryce wasn’t aware of the yellow safety flags that had come out during the final lap for a rival driver who was trapped in the gravel at The Chase. At this stage Bryce was in the lead by 12 seconds and he went on to record the fastest ever Super2 race lap around the mountain with a 2:06.588s on the last lap.

Two hours after the race, Bryce was handed down a 15 second penalty. As a result, Bryce claimed 2nd position.

On the final day of racing over the weekend Bryce raced with Kelly Racing in a Nissan Ultima with Andre Heimgartner in the Bathurst 1000. This was a huge decision as most main drivers start the race to reduce the risk of crashing in the first couple of laps. Bryce did an excellent job, driving well to move the car up the race order.

Following on from Bathurst, in what can be best described as a sensational effort, Bryce clinched the Super 2 Series Championship with a round to spare at Sandown Raceway on November 10th. Bryce’s 4th place finish in the main race extended his lead from 357 points to an unassailable 365 points.

"Thanks so much to the MW Motorsport guys and my engineer Brendan McGinniskin for their efforts this year. What a fantastic car and team. Big thanks also to Middy’s and my other sponsors who have helped me get to this point. I couldn’t have done it without you all and lastly my family for believing in me all the way." - Bryce Fullwood on his win

From everyone at Middy’s, we are incredibly proud of Bryce and congratulate him for claiming the Super2 Series Championship.
