Middy's Racing
Proud Territorian races his heart out at Double Darwin
Bryce Fullwood became the first Territorian to race a Supercar in the Northern Territory in August. Whilst race results at the BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown and Darwin SuperSprint didn't exactly go Bryce's way, the local crowd appreciated his huge efforts, loudly cheering him on from "the hills".
With appearances on the Thursday before each race weekend at Middy’s Woolner and Middy's Palmerston, Bryce’s Darwin fans were treated to a 'meet and greet' with their hero, walking away with signed merchandise and free Mobil 1 Middy's Racing posters.
Middy’s provided refreshments to more than 160 people who attended the events. Channel 9 and Supercars media were present and Bryce was genuinely overwhelmed by the local support he received.
Bryce converts speed into results in Townsville
Bryce hit the NTI Townsville SuperSprint with a personal best in his Supercars career to date. A great start to an action-packed double header in Townsville saw him finish strongly in 8th position in race 19 of the event.
Bryce & Chaz at Middy’s Hindmarsh
The Virgin Australia Supercars Championship then hit the South Australian motorsport calendar with a doubleheader at The Bend Motorsport Park on September 19-20 and 26-27.
Whilst in SA, Bryce and his team mate Chaz Mostert visited Middy’s Hindmarsh for an exclusive in branch pre-race Q&A and autographing session. Fans mingled with their heroes and enjoyed a fabulous day.
On the track during the first weekend, even with the Mobil 1 Middy’s race car sustaining some superficial damage on the outside, Bryce pressed on and landed himself a spot in the top 10.
"Really happy to convert some speed into a result today. It was a good day for us. I was super pumped to get into the shootout and was happy with our effort on old tyres. We got a little lucky in the turn-two debacle, but had solid race-pace after that, so overall a really good day for us, and the team with Chaz on the podium" - Bryce Fullwood
Fullwood scores maiden podium
Bryce scored his first ever Supercars podium finish, with third place in Race 25 during the second weekend of racing at The Bend, SA. Many have said that the rookie drove a superb race, one that will be reflected on for years to come.
Bryce lit up the timing boards mid-race as fastest car on track as the Mobil 1 Middy’s Racing rocket made its way forward into fourth. Despite crossing the line in fourth position, a 15 second penalty to McLaughlin promoted Bryce onto the podium. An incredible achievement in Bryce’s first season.
"What a day, it still hasn’t sunk in yet to be honest. I can’t thank Walkinshaw Andretti United and Middy’s enough for believing in me, but also Mobil 1, and all of our other team partners for their support. I didn’t expect to be taking home a trophy in my first year of Supercars, but I’ll take it. To be racing with these guys up the front, mixing it with them and passing them is pretty surreal. It’s just so awesome to get my first podium, so a big thank you to everyone who has helped me get here" - Bryce Fullwood
Bryce signs on for 2021
Walkinshaw Andretti United has announced that Bryce Fullwood will continue as their driver as the No. 2 entry for the 2021 Repco Supercars Championship. This announcement reflects Bryce’s determination, hard work and skill.
Middy’s is proud to have supported Bryce in his journey and wish him all the best next season in 2021.
After making his main-game debut at the 2020 Superloop Adelaide 500, Bryce has recorded one podium finish, four top 10s and a personal best qualifying of seventh in his 26 race starts.
Bryce ends the 2020 Championship in 18th spot, ahead of not only every rookie driver in the field, but also every second year driver, proving how impressive his debut season has been.
"I’m super excited to be back with Walkinshaw Andretti United. I love it here, it really is a family, and it’s fantastic to be able to continue the journey we started. I’ve been really happy with how this year has gone and I’m excited to continue to build during the off-season. I can’t thank the team and our partners enough for their continued support, and look forward to seeing what the future has in store for us" - Bryce Fullwood

Pro Eseries to finish the season
The 2020 Repco Supercars Pro Eseries returned bigger and better than ever on the iRacing platform, running over six weekly rounds from October 28 to December 2. Some of the best Sim racers from all over Australia and New Zealand contest the series from their respective homes, with a champion to be awarded at the end of the series.
Partnering with Supercars Eseries 3rd place getter, Dayne Warren is driving the Mobil 1 Middy’s Racing #2 entry in this year’s championship. At the time of print Dayne was in 3rd spot on the leaderboard with his partner Josh leading in first. All the action was broadcast live on Fox Sports, Kayo, Supercars Facebook, Twitch and Youtube pages.
